We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the start of the worship service to make sure your kids are welcomed and settled properly.  First-time families should go to the Check In Room (#108) located in the hallway off of the main foyer. Our staff will gather information about you and your child.  After completing the registration form, parents will receive a name tag for each of their children, and a claim tag for them to retain with a pager number for each child.  Parents will then be directed to the appropriate classroom where they can drop off their children.

Our Nursery and Early Childhood  Wing is located on the first floor. This area serves children 3 months- Pre-K.

Elevate Kids (K-5) meet on the 3rd floor. Our staff will guide them upstairs after they have been properly checked in.

Yes, there are a number of systems and policies in place to ensure safety for all of our children.  When you check in your children, you will receive a parent tag with a pager number text to each child.  If your child needs you at any point during the service, the paging system in the sanctuary will display this 3-digit number.  We also have the ability to text-message you if you provide us with this information (keep your phone on vibrate during the service so you are able to receive these).  After service, you will need to present your parent tag in order to pick-up your nursery and pre-school aged children.  This tag identifies that you have permission to pick up the child with the corresponding tag.

Sometimes parent tags are misplaced or lost. Life happens, we understand. However, Children will not be released to anyone without a parent tag. This is to ensure safety for all the children, all the time. If you do not have your tag, you can visit the Welcome Center where a staff member will happily help verify your identity through our registration records and print you a new tag.

Our standard snack for toddlers and pre-school children is cheerios or goldfish and water or Capri sun.  Occasionally a special snack may be offered so it is important to let us know about any food allergies during registration and keep us up-to-date as those change.

Candy is offered to children in Elevate Kids as incentives for certain times of service. If you do not wish for your child to have candy, we will gladly provide an alternate option upon request.

All of our Children’s Ministry volunteers have had a background check and have extensive interviews with our Lead Pastor and directors of our children’s areas. We strive to have the safest environment possible in all classrooms.

When registering your child, you will receive a three-digit security/pager number. If for any reason your child needs you during the service, your three-digit number will be posted on the monitor in the sanctuary. If you see your number has been posted, please meet your child in their classroom.  If you provide us with your cell phone number and cell phone carrier at registration, we can also page you via text messaging.

In order to keep current, our Children’s Ministry is now using many avenues of social media. This enables us to post pictures of all the great things that happen Sunday morning.  We may post group pictures and videos occasionally on our website or on Facebook. Names will not be included.

If at any point you wish to have a photo of your child removed, please contact the children’s director.

Children in Nursery/Early Childhood will need any kind of diapering items and an alternate set of clothes in case of accidents. We do carry these items in our classrooms if needed.

Elevate Kids should bring their Bibles with them every week! As we use these in every service. They may also bring their Buddy Barrels for the offering.

Children in Nursery/Early Childhood participate in singing songs, hearing a Bible story, snack, and playtime.

A typical Elevate Kids Service will offer prayer, worship,  memory verse, bible story, interactive lesson, games, and character skits.
