In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

At Southgate Church we take the Great Commission, spoken by Jesus in the verses above, seriously.  It is our desire to see every person in our church be involved in praying, giving and going on mission. We pray regularly for the missionaries we support, we have opportunities to give to those missionaries through our church, and we have yearly short term mission trips for people to experience life in another context.  We are discipling here in South Bend, and we pray for and give to support those missionaries who are making disciples in the places we ourselves can’t go.
